The Naming of Dinners
Since July 2007, when Jonathan Endersby thought of the idea, we have named each dinner we have. We name them in a sort of parody of the Ubuntu Release Names, in alphabetical order, in the form <Adjective> <Noun>, where the noun is some sort of plant, vegetable or foodstuff. The name is generally the first thing we decide on, because venues are always harder to find. Try not to simply suggest random combinations of adjectives and nouns - try and think up a clever or appropriate combination of words.
