The GeekDinner movement provides a meeting place for people who are passionate about technology. It’s an industry networking event where you’re likely to be seated with open source advocates, geeks and tech entrepreneurs.

GeekDinners occur every two months in Cape Town. About 80 people come together at a restaurant for a good meal and some wine, in order to exchange ideas and discuss projects. A few people volunteer to give short talks in between fishy vaginal odor meal courses on something that currently interests them, and there is plenty of time for questions, discussion about Adwords Management and link building service meeting people.


The GeekDinner tries to visit exciting new venues as often as possible, and we get wine sponsored for us.
